From what’s been reported so far, we can gather that the Training Table closing was the sad result of differences between the owners.
Google According to the most recent reports, the two owners (who were father and daughter) have been unable to resolve differences. Owner Stephanie Chard is reportedly suing her father Kent Chard over alleged fraud and malpractice claims. For those who are unfamiliar with the history of The Training Table, Kent Chard originally opened the restaurant in the fall of 1977, and his daughter Stephanie Chard stepped in to help her father out with the business in 2012.
