The famous Appalachian Trail stretches out for over 2000 miles, from Maine to Georgia. The Missouri River is one of the largest and most important rivers going through North Dakota. The history surrounding it is extensive to say the least. The river brought many of the state’s cities to life, including the capital city Bismarck.
