Back in the late 1850s, miners first came to this area in what is now known as the Opal Creek Ancient Forest and found gold. Years later, after discovering the area was rich in copper, lead and zinc, they set up camp in the early 1930s and turned this swath of land in to a full fledged mining community. This summer, if you want to see some incredible sandcastles, you’ll have to visit Edgewater Mall in Biloxi. Fans of exotic cars and roller coasters could soon have a new favorite park in Orlando. The luxury automaker Ferrari licensed its name to its first park, Ferarri World, in Abu Dhabi in 2010. It contains the world’s fastest roller coaster, the Formula Rossa. Ferarri has plans for additional parks in Spain (almost completed), China, and now North America, as well. Ferarri has not yet revealed where in North America its latest park would be constructed, but many people are speculating that Orlando is a frontrunner....
