Blue water isn’t exactly prevalent here in Texas, so finding a diamond in the rough is just that much more satisfying. Devil’s River, part of the Rio Grande Drainage Basin in Southwestern Texas, has arguably the most striking sapphire hue of any body of water in the state. I would definitely look into planning a trip here sometime soon, especially now that the temperature is starting to warm up! Nobody really knows why it’s called the Devil’s River, but one thing’s for sure - it’s anything but malevolent....
The entire coast of Rhode Island is unlike anywhere else in the world. This is unsurprising when considering how many tourists take full advantage of our gorgeous coastal offerings each year.
