This latest snowstorm to hit Wyoming has brought plenty of fresh, new snow to the state, but it’s also brought some freezing cold temperatures. If you had big plans to go shopping or be outdoors this weekend, you might want to reconsider.

While some parts of Wyoming only saw a few inches of snow with yesterday’s storm, other parts saw as much as two feet overnight!

The polar vortex also brought freezing cold temperatures from up north. The state will continue to be affected by those low temps throughout the weekend.

Temperatures in the southern part of the state won’t be much better - expect a high of only 7 degrees Fahrenheit in Rock Springs today.

Travel could be a bit dicey this weekend, with roads covered in snow or ice.
