In Idaho, camping is the ultimate go-to family outing, a perfect getaway to be enjoyed friends, and even a solo adventure for the courageous few who are well-versed with Idaho’s wilderness. But for Gem Staters, there are essentially two types of roughing it: there are basecamps that are just a place to rest your head for the night, and then there are fantastic campgrounds that offer the best scenery in the state mere steps away from your tent. This is one of the latter.
Priest Lake is a devastatingly beautiful oasis, and Priest Lake State Park is perhaps one of the best places to enjoy it to the fullest.
