The Denver & Rio Grande Western Depot was built in 1910. It was designed by Henry Schlacks, a famous architect from Chicago, and when it was built, it was one of the most impressive train depots in the west. Today, the Rio Grande Depot no longer serves train passengers. It functions as the home of the Division Of Utah State History, and also provides Salt Lake Diners with some delicious Mexican food.
