The Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens is home to the Green Roof on Howlett Hall, a 12,000 sq. ft. rooftop garden.
Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens/Facebook From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday - Thursday, you can schedule a guided tour of the arboretum’s various gardens.
There are more than 7,000 perennial plants and a variety of sedum featured in this rooftop garden.

The Green Roof was installed as a prototype for future green roofs. There are several environmental and economic benefits to this sustainability effort, including improved air quality, filtering and reducing storm water runoff and increasing urban food production.
