It may come as a surprise to some, but Nebraska is home to a lot of fantastic vineyards and wineries. There’s one that’s totally unique, though, with something for just about everyone.
Located in the rolling green hills of southeastern Nebraska, just outside of Pawnee City, sits SchillingBridge Winery and Microbrewery.
SchillingBridge Winery
It’s the country’s first farm, winery, and microbrewery combination. The nine-acre property has been growing grapes since 2002, and their microbrewery was completed in 2007.

The on-site production of both wine and beer means that you get high-quality products that you know were made right here in Nebraska. It also means that you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to picking a drink.

SchillingBridge Winery In 1904, a Campbell Brothers Circus train caught fire in Pawnee City and nearly all of the animals on board were killed. Two elephants were buried on this land, then later excavated so their skeletons could be displayed in UNL’s Morrill Hall.
Sit in the outside seating area or take a walk around the beautiful grounds to experience nature’s bounty. The fresh air makes the wine and beer taste even better.
