Woods Canyon Trail #93 is a trail that sits in Red Rock country, just south of Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek.
Coconino National Forest/Flickr The trail measures 4.5 miles one-way, so expect to hike 8 to 9 miles total. Whenever you feel like returning, just turn around and head back in the same direction.
Although it sounds long, the trail is actually pretty easy. It’s level with a well-defined trail and the first mile follows a jeep trail before narrowing.

The majority of the route is unshaded, so be sure to put on plenty of sunscreen and bring plenty of water for the journey.
