When we think about farmers markets, we usually get a mental image of a bunch of hippies shopping for kale and free-range eggs. In Texas, where everything is bigger and better, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. SFC Farmers Market in Austin is almost like a state fair, featuring hundreds of food vendors selling everything from gourmet chocolate to pastries to tamales – the only thing all these unique stands have in common is how delicious their food is. You’d better come hungry because I guarantee you won’t be able to stop after just one booth!
With four locations across the city, SFC is easily one of the largest farmers markets in the country and has been rated one of the best.
