St. Maries is a town located in northern Idaho, just 2.5 hours away from the Canadian border.

It’s a quiet town, with only 2,800 residents. It’s nestled in a valley with many rivers and lakes, making it incredibly serene.

Although it is a peaceful town, there’s still lots to do and see in St. Maries. The town is situated along the St. Joe River, which offers 120 miles worth of whitewater rafting (or regular floating if that’s what you prefer!).

St. Maries is home to one of the most popular bike trails in the western United States, the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. Bicyclists travel from all over to bike this trail that spans nearly the entire Idaho panhandle.
