The Stone Cuts Trail is located within Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama. It’s one of the Southeast’s most unique hiking trails.

This unique loop trail, which is rated moderate in difficulty, is 2.4 miles long and takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours to complete. It’s a great trail for the entire family.

It received its name because certain sections of the trail’s limestone walls have deep cuts, as seen here:
