No matter where you are in Maine, you won’t find yourself far from the natural beauty of the state. Whether you’re sitting next to the crashing waves of the coast or cozied up next to a campfire under the starry forest, Maine will keep nature lovers happy. But, there are some places in Vacationland that are remarkable when it comes to their access to breathtaking natural beauty. We have lots of examples, but today we’re talking about Stonington!

Stonington is located in Hancock County, on the southern end of Deer Isle.
