The beauty of the land in some areas of North Dakota is second to none. Natural formations that will take your breath away can be found in many parts of the state. This place is one of the most gorgeous spots in the state and is open for visiting all throughout summer and fall. This wonderful place is one of North Dakota’s many state parks, Sully Creek State Park.

The park is near Medora and has some of the most fantastic scenery in the area. Towering buttes and colorful canyons form the valley that the Little Missouri River snakes through.

Wild horses are also present there, many descending from the first Nokota horses that originated in the state.
