Amazing parks can be found scattered all over Rhode Island! While some are filled with hundreds of acres of deep forested hiking trails, others offer lovely cliffside walking paths with scenic overlooks. Others still are well manicured urban parks found hiding right in plain sight. This one modestly sized park offers arguably one of the most stunning views in the entire state.

Prospect Terrace is a park found in the College Hill area of the East Side of Providence.

Upon entering the park and taking a few steps in you’ll notice the striking granite statue of Rhode Island founder, Roger Williams under a gorgeous arch. This is the final resting place of the remains of our small state’s great founder.

You’ll then notice the park is built on a cliffside on Congdon Street and offers a simply BREATHTAKING view of just about the entire city.
