Way out west along the Mississippi River between Fountain City to the south and Prescott to the North and on both the Wisconsin and Minnesota sides of the Mississippi River there is the biggest and best garage sale this state has ever seen.

More than 15 historic river towns in two states join together for this epic garage sale where one person’s junk is another’s treasure.

Start in Fountain City to the south and work your way north to Prescott on the Wisconsin side to view all of the great sales.

The sale takes place along Hwy. 35 surrounding the Lake Pepin area of the river. It goes through Nelson, Pepin, Stockholm, and Maiden Rock to Bay City, WI. The trail then crosses west to Minnesota at Red Wing, MN and heads south on Hwy. 61 through Frontenac, Lake City, Camp LaCupolis, Reads Landing, Wabasha, Kellogg and Winona.
