While the weather is nice in the summer, it’s nice to get out and enjoy a picnic every now and again. Looking for a great spot to have that picnic? Look no further. Here are a few good spots.

- Kanawha State Forest

US Department of Agriculture It’s a great little campsite in the park, but with a name like Bear Heaven, you better be sure not to leave food behind or unattended.

- Chestnut Ridge Park in Bruceton Mills

- The area in front of Seneca Rocks
