Once upon a time, there was a burger in Georgia that was deemed the “Best in America” by The Wall Street Journal. Since that article was published in 2007, hungry patrons have sought out on a journey specifically to try this monster burger. Many people have visited the 8-seat shack year-after-year to eat the famed burger and have stated with confidence that it has only gotten better over time. Take a look at what has been fondly dubbed The Ghetto Burger from Ann’s Snack Bar.

The Ghetto Burger at Ann’s Snack Bar has been a staple to the state of Georgia for years.

Miss Ann herself, at seventy-something-years-old, made each patty by hand up until last year, and cooked that juicy ground beef on her diner-style griddle in this super charming restaurant.

While it may be the messiest burger you’ve ever eaten, it will also be the tastiest.

What makes up this Ghetto Burger, you ask?

Yelp Trung N.

Liberally seasoned ground beef—two patties worth, deep fried bacon, slabs of creamy American cheese, an even mixing of condiments, lettuce, tomato, and of course, homemade chili…all pressed between two soft buns.

If you’re feeling frisky, you can even add on a side of chili fries and level up your entire meal.

Unfortunately, Miss Ann passed away last year and no longer creates or flips these fabulous burgers.

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop in and try one for yourself anyway, and pay homage to her delicious masterpiece.
