Located in North Georgia’s Fannin County, you’ll find the trailhead for Springer Mountain at the blue blazed 8.5-mile approach trail at Amicalola Falls State Park.

You can also reach Springer Mountain by way of Forest Service Road 42, which leads to a 0.9-mile hike south to the summit of the mountain.

But regardless if you’re hiking the Appalachian Trail, or just hiking to the top of the mountain, Springer boasts some seriously surreal sunrise views.
