The Roths started packing and shipping citrus here in 1964, and the shop has remained a popular stop for both tourists and natives looking for special treats and gifts.

New River Groves is just as famous for its Key lime pie as it is for its fruit.

They started making the award-winning pies in the ’70s and now sell all kinds of homemade pies, from chocolate mousse to banana cream. They also have traditional holiday pies and unique specialty pies like mango Key lime and pumpkin Key lime, which are only available at certain times of the year.
