John Wayne’s 1960 film The Alamo is one of the most iconic films about the American West. The original set for the movie was incredibly detailed, and strove to be as authentic as possible. Now, that same set is sitting abandoned and decaying in the heart of Texas. After filming wrapped up on the movie, the set was turned into a roadside attraction called Alamo Village.
