Today, the park is a beautiful place to roam and relax. Though most of the castle is gone, the beautiful arches and foundations of one wing remain intact.

The park is open from dawn until dusk, and offers wooded walking trails and scenic landscapes. The area is well-maintained, so it’s the perfect spot for a blanket picnic or some laid-back lawn games. Greycourt Park also plays host to plenty of awesome events like the Festival of Trees around the holidays.

The park can be a bit tricky to find, but that just means it’s pretty much immune to crowds. To locate the park, try parking behind Methuen City Hall and walking down the path next to the historical center. You’ll spot the park in no time.
