The Wayne National Forest Headquarters in Athens County is located in one of the most remote areas of the forest. The facility features solar panels, educational opportunities and more.

With more than 300 miles of hiking trails, it’s a beautiful area to explore from April 15 - December 15. Trail permits for ATV, OHV, horse, and mountain bike use are also available for select trail systems.
