When two people come together in marriage, so does the bulk sum of their belongings. So was the case with Justin Lanasa. After he got married his wife said he either needed to get rid of his wide assortment of strange collectibles or make a museum. Unable to part with his strange, sometimes fascinating relics that ranged from horror movie collectibles to Harry Houdini’s ouija board, he opted for the latter.

Located in Wilmington, the Art Museum of the Bizarre has been visited by people looking for something weird, different and odd. The strange exhibits aren’t just for adults only but can be enjoyed by some pretty brave children as well. There’s a ‘cabinet of curiosities,’ and authentic Van De Graaff generator. The ‘Odditorium Museum’ does not go light on the odd factor.
