If you’re looking to get out of the big city and discover a charming town that’s worth the journey, drive down Highway 35 about 55 miles south of Oklahoma City, and you’ll stumble upon Pauls Valley. This quaint town might be small, but you’ll have plenty to do and see. Take a look:
Pauls Valley is located in Garven County, Oklahoma and has a population of around 6,000 residents. It’s tucked away off Highway 35 and is the perfect place to go for a day out of the big city. The town might be small, but it’s jam-packed with things to do.

One of the most unique attractions in town is the Toy and Action Figure Museum. This attraction alone makes Pauls Valley a destination city…it’s the world’ s first museum devoted to the art and sculpting of action figures.

The Santa Fe Depot is the centerpiece of downtown and features a 1902 Santa Fe steam engine with tender and a caboose. The museum is filled with railroad memorabilia and is great for the whole family.

The Heartland Flyer stops every morning in Pauls Valley on its route from OKC to Ft. Worth. If you don’t feel like driving to this small town, catch the train and enjoy a leisurely ride down the tracks.

Pauls Valley also has its own water park, open daily from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Bring along your swimsuit and towel and enjoy a few waterslides while in town.
