The Northern California Coast is home to one of the most unique, interesting, and beautiful chapels in the world. The Sea Ranch Chapel, located just south of the town of Gualala, celebrates its beautiful surrounding scenery and spirituality in a non denominational setting.

The Sea Ranch Chapel was completed in 1985 and took 9 months to build.

It’s an incredibly interesting - and detailed - place to behold. The building resembles a wave or incomplete spiral.

It’s a fascinating place you have to see to believe because pictures truly don’t do it justice.

The Sea Ranch Chapel and the land it sits on were gifts to the community from Sea Ranch residents, Robert and Betty Buffum.

The non denominational church is dedicated to Kirk Ditzler, a navy aviator, zoologist, and artist.

The place is truly exquisite, inside and out. The detailed mosaics continue the organic and flowing homage to the surrounding natural beauty of this region.
