You know that Utah pretty much has it wrapped up when it comes to hiking. There’s something for every hiker in the Beehive State: alpine forests, red rock cliffs, vast sweeping views. We’ve got difficult, two-day hikes that require technical skills and permits, and you’ll also find hikes in Utah that are so easy you can bring your grandma along. How about a short, alpine hike that offers gorgeous views, wildlife and a waterfall at the end? Let’s take a look at the Stewart Falls Trail.
The trail to Stewart Falls starts at the Aspen Grove trailhead. Take U.S. 189 up Provo Canyon, past Sundance. To park at Aspen Grove, you’ll pay a $6 entrance fee (which is good for three days).

This hike is popular, and busy on weekends – you’ll run into lots of families with children on a Saturday afternoon. If you’re looking for some quiet solitude, visit on a weekday when you’ll experience fewer people.
