Virginia has its fair share of world famous attractions, ranging from natural wonders to truly amazing architectural feats. But did you know there’s a little Eiffel Tower right here in the Old Dominion? Tucked away in the beloved Kings Dominion theme park is a replica of this iconic structure.

The Kings Dominion Eiffel Tower was built in 1975 along with the rest of the family-friendly theme park located in Doswell.

Though it towers over the park, Virginia’s version of the Eiffel Tower is only one-third the size of the world famous monument in Paris.

The tower measures 315 feet tall with an observation floor at 264 feet tall. Aside from being one of the park’s most historical attractions, this structure is also a ride.

While it’s a bit less thrilling than some of the other rides in the park, there’s no denying the wonder of taking this unique elevator ride.

After ascending to the very top, visitors can gain a breathtaking view of the world of roller coasters and attractions of Kings Dominion.
