Arizona has always attracted nature lovers, and this week residents will have a front row seat to a spectacular celestial event. Known as the Perseid Meteor Shower, this annual event will take place between the night of August 12th and the morning of August 13th. Here’s more on this spectacular chance for star-gazing and the best place to watch it all:

Once a year, star gazers from all across the country gather to watch the spectacle known as the Perseid Meteor Shower.

The best places for viewing the meteor shower are spots across the country where there is relatively no light pollution. And one of those designated places just so happens to be in Arizona.
