Maine has a long and wonderful history that many of us have grown up hearing from family and friends that have lived here all their lives. It’s so much fun to look back at what the state was once like and it’s often surprising to see how much of it has remained the same. We’re lucky that way. Maine is a place that’s been pretty much perfect all along – even back in the 1950s. The decade when the Vietnam War began and the post-war baby boom was in full effect!
