Mirror Lake is a stunning alpine lake that can be reached on an easy three mile hike through the beautiful Mt Hood National Forest.

Starting at the Mirror Lake Trailhead, the trail winds through an emerald green forest for about 1.5 miles, passing glittering creeks, dense greenery, charming log bridges, and more.

Soon, the beautiful Mirror Lake will come into view. You’ll be taken aback by the crystal clear water and picturesque views.

You can take a little walk around the rim of the lake, have a picnic, or even take a dip in the water on a warm day.

On a clear, calm day, you’ll be able to see the glowing peak of Mt Hood mirrored in the crystal clear water.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can extend your hike to reach spectacular Tom Dick and Harry Mountain Viewpoint nearby.

When you’re ready to go home, turn around and head back along the trail in the direction from which you came.
