Nothing says summer like swimming. Whereas Nevada—particularly southern Nevada—is home to several large hotel resorts with glorious swimming pools, the splendor of the natural swimming hole is largely underrated and underappreciated. When you add a waterfall to such swimming holes, the attraction is compounded. Here is the Silver State’s most beautiful waterfall swimming hole that is guaranteed to make your summer epic. Take a look.
Access to First Creek Swimming Hole begins at the First Creek Trailhead. This 3.6-mile out-and-back, relatively flat hike is great for all ages, and the gorgeous swimming hole with waterfall is well worth the effort.

The depth and flow of the water is a result of snowpack, rainfall, and the seasons. As the area is prone to flash flooding, don’t attempt to visit the area during stormy conditions. Conversely, when drought conditions are in effect, the pool becomes less swimmable.
