For some reason or other, Wisconsinites allegedly see a lot of spirits. There are supposed hauntings all over the state, in towns big or small. But one small town has had its share of spirits roaming about. This town is Brodhead, Wisconsin, a town near the center and bottom of the state. Many of you have probably never heard of it, and most of you will misspell it. But for the people who know the town, they claim to have seen some spirits.
The first haunted story about Brodhead is that two men brutally murdered a woman, who now roams over a bridge and haunts the town.

The next is that a little girl haunts a building that is now Flynn’s Steakhouse, formerly the “Harris House.” She allegedly burned to death in a fire.

Down one of the streets, there is a playground called Hell’s Playground. According to legend, children were killed there and left to die. Multiple people have reported a super eerie feeling, and even hearing children chanting.

Other residents have reported being spooked at multiple locations around town. The ghosts are there and then they are gone.

It’s probably the older architecture, combined with colorful legends, that makes this place so very scary, but ask yourself this: would you want to walk around some of these places at night knowing this?
