The Old Country is located in the small town of Lorman on US 61 between Port Gibson and Natchez, just off the Natchez Trace Parkway.

As the name implies, the building, which dates back to the 1800s, was originally a general store. Today, it’s run by Arthur Davis and known as the home of “Mr. D’s heavenly fried chicken.”

It’s also still a functioning store. The walls are lined with shelves filled with everything from antiques to homemade items, making for a truly unique experience.
