Have you heard? Arizona will soon be home to a brand new dining experience that is perfect for all the adventurers out there? It also just happens to be located deep underground in the last place you would expect to eat a tasty meal!

Just imagine your next lunch or dinner taking place right here, approximately 200 feet below ground! In just a few days, the only place in Arizona to enjoy such an experience will be at the Grotto in Grand Canyon Caverns.

The Grotto is a new restaurant that will be opening August 15 and, just like the caverns itself, this will be an eye opening experience you won’t soon forget!

Getting to the restaurant requires a little more than just driving and getting a seat. You will ride an elevator 200 feet down and walk a short distance away from the usual tour path.

And at the restaurant, you’ll find a wooden platform with four tables. From the platform, you’ll get one incredible view of the cave!

Your dining experience also comes with a guided tour of the cave, making this an unforgettable tour!

And, if you aren’t able to make reservations—or some members of your party have claustrophia—you can still dine in the above ground restaurant located next to the gift shop.

The Grotto is scheduled to open August 15, 2017, however, it is currently taking reservations for future dining experiences. Lunch will cost $49.95 per person and dinner $69.95 per person. Both meals include a guided cave tour.
