Pennsylvania’s big cities are masterpieces of skyscrapers glistening alongside historic buildings. New stands next to old in cities like Philly and Pittsburgh. But, travel a little further from the big cities and you’ll discover charming small towns frozen in time. Visit this small fishing town in Pennsylvania, for example, and you may feel as though you’ve stepped into a postcard from the past.

A cozy town 12 miles from State College, Bellefonte’s small town friendliness, charming Victorian architecture, and vibrant fishing scene has made it the place to live for its nearly 6,200 residents.
