Kansas, we’ve got something good for you today. The best roadside attractions are easy to visit, and offer quick entertainment at little or no cost to you. Kansas itself has a number of crazy roadside attractions, with “World’s Largest” things sprinkled over the state. The city of Lucas is home to a number of oddities, including the wacky Garden of Eden, a toilet shaped building, and a winery straight from Oz itself, but what you don’t often see mentioned is probably the most unique roadside attraction in the whole state.
If you’re reading this out loud, take a deep breath., because this is a big one.

The World’s Largest Collection of World’s Smallest Versions of World’s Largest Things is in part a mobile attraction, with one part, seen below, stationary behind the Garden of Eden (a must-see as well) and holds a large part of the collection.

Features include a mini version of the largest easel in Goodland, the world’s largest wren in Topeka, and other famous huge things, like our beloved ball of twine in Cawker City.

Erika Nelson, the artist in charge here, also travels on the road with the WLCoWSVoWLT Sideshow Extravaganza in a less conspicuous vehicle with a smaller portion of her collection.

Currently, a stationary museum is in the works in downtown Lucas, and I couldn’t be more excited to make sure everyone knows! It’s truly a unique item on Kansas’ attractions list.
