Old Pioneer Garden B&B Guest Ranch is located in small-town Unionville, just south of I-80 and east of State Route 400 approximately an hour from Winnemucca. Once the original county seat of Humboldt County during the 1870s, today Unionville sits in Pershing County and is home to approximately 20 residents. It is classified as a Hamlet with only one business—the Old Pioneer Garden. Despite being the only “attraction” in this little town, this charming and rustic small-town Nevada bed & breakfast truly is unforgettable, especially if you want to get away from it all for a couple of days. Take a look.

Between 1863 and 1870, during Unionville’s mining boom, the town’s population was as high as 1,500. Perhaps Unionville’s most famous resident was Mark Twain who tried his hand at prospecting. Twain’s cabin still stands today and is the primary reason people come to Unionville. There is so much more, however.
