With a population of just over 1,000, the charming town of Troy, Kansas is situated in the very northeast corner of the state and is part of the St. Joseph, MO–KS Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Platted in 1855, Troy is a historically significant town in that it was the first stop on the Pony Express out of St. Joseph.
