We’re all about the small-town restaurants here in Texas. They don’t always look the best on the outside, but where the quality matters (the food), they deliver every single time. The only problem is that so many of them go unnoticed because they’re pretty much in the middle of nowhere. That’s where we step in to do the research and share some of the best unheard-of joints in the state. The Shed in Edom, a tiny East Texas town, is one such place. The home-cooked Southern food is amazing (especially the pie), the service is what you’d expect in a down-home atmosphere, and the experience overall is one you won’t soon forget.
