Many of you have heard, and definitely know of Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin. It has been around since 1955 and has seen much growth and many changes throughout the years. Me? I’ve been to Zilker Botanical Garden to take touristy photos with my relatives from out of town, photos for my high school prom, and to relax for a peaceful morning stroll through the rose garden for some zen time. To my surprise, there have been local Austin natives like myself who have never been or ever heard of this enchanting little nook of blooming nature right outside of the bustles of downtown. Take a gander with me through what might be the most underrated, yet beautiful place in Austin.
