The story goes that Jesse James was shot by his house guests, Bob and Charley Ford, who had conspired with Missouri Governor Thomas T. Crittenden. Conspiracy theorists believe James actually faked his own death and ran away to Texas where he lived the rest of his long life under the alias James Courtney.

In fact, one YouTuber predicted Joplin would be hit due to anomalies on radar maps created by the government-funded HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program).
