If you’ve ever heard of The Mohicans tree houses tucked away in Glenmont, Ohio, then you know just how epic they truly are.
Ohio explorers will be pleased to know that this gorgeous wedding venue and its unique lodging facilities recently welcomed a new addition to their treehouse family. (To read about their other three treehouses, click here.) Moonlight Treehouse is an unbelievably gorgeous retreat away from it all—tucked away in the trees, just beneath the forest canopy.
This custom designed treehouse features 100-year-old barn siding from one of its Amish designers from the town of Danville. It’s a truly unique structure full of homey, rustic charm.

As you make your way up the boardwalk into the trees, anticipation builds for the magical getaway that awaits.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy living area complete with window seating. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a good book.

The treehouse is fully heated and has AC for the summer months. Cell phone service is limited— but that’s OK because it only enhances your magical experience.

The kitchenette includes dishes, cookware, mini refrigerators with a small freezer, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and a two-burner electric cooking element.

There’s also a full bathroom on the main floor, complete with a shower, 9-inch sink and toilet. Towels and linens are provided.

In addition to the indoor shower, there is an outdoor shower as well that’s available for use in the warmer months.

The main floor features a bedroom with a sliding barn door, a queen size bed and a window that overlooks the forest. It’s unbelievably cozy and inviting.

Upstairs, the loft overlooks the main living area and features another queen size bed for additional guests.

And outside, you’ll find a picture perfect deck with seating for four. It’s the ultimate, inspiring place to start the day with a cup of coffee in hand. <3
