A beach in Nevada? Are you kidding? I can hear it now. In fact, with the large number of Nevada lakes, beaches are not unheard of. While they may not compare to the likes of Hawaii, California, or Florida, Nevadans have plenty of fun in the sun and water. Perhaps the most underrated beach in the entire state is the appropriately named Nevada Beach at Lake Tahoe. Take a look at this beauty.

Even the doggies love Nevada Beach! Along with Kiva Beach, this is one of only two dog-friendly Lake Tahoe beaches. While your canine friends are not allowed along the entire beach, the south end has a place reserved just for them where they can even take a dip and play in the waves.
