This car graveyard is located deep in the woods, and it’s an absolute sea of abandoned vehicles.
The footage of this incredible spot is brought to us by YouTube channel “Exploring With Josh,” and it’s a must-see. Nature is slowly creeping into the cabins and engines of these antique cars. Mountains of vintage cars, trucks and even service vehicles are simply rusting away amongst the animals and trees. The story behind how this car graveyard was born is equally fascinating. Read on for a preview of this incredible site, and then be sure to watch the video below.
Residents of the area claim that in the 1960s, a local man began dragging broken-down cars and trucks into the forest. He was presumably repairing them, or dismantling the vehicles in order to scrap them for parts.

As time went on, something truly bizarre began to occur: cars simply began to appear in the forest clearing.

The cars were of unknown origin, and the local man could only assume that people had heard about his junk collection and thought it would be a good place to deposit unwanted vehicles.

Eventually, the forest clearing held everything from police cars to fire engines, and even school buses. There are decaying vehicles almost everywhere you look for acres upon acres.
