Oregon is absolutely stunning in every season. And, as summer winds down we always start to anticipate what’s in store for the upcoming winter in Oregon. The Old Farmer’s Almanac just released its 2017 winter weather predictions for the area and you may not be so happy with what it has to say this year.
On the other hand, if you like above-average temps then you should start jumping for joy now.
Flickr/Sheila Sund The Almanac predicts a mild and stormy winter is ahead for Oregon. So if you normally look forward to the “typical” Oregon winter, you may want to bury your head and just wait for spring. With warmer than average temps, this one is expected to be anything but typical.
The coldest months are expected to be December, January and February.

While parts of the southern regions dip below those numbers at 38 degrees for the average high temp and 20 degrees for the average low temp. Expect those numbers to be higher in the coming winter.
