Venice Beach Is The Funkiest Beach Town In Southern California

Southern California is full of delightful beach towns. From quaint little hideaways to sprawling stretches of sand, there’s no shortage of places in SoCal where you can get your beach town “fix.” Even though it’s impossible to pick our favorite spot for a beach day, there’s no question that there’s one place, in particular, that is hands down the funkiest beach in the entire state.

For starters, this beach is just a fun place to be. At any given time you’ll see folks walking, jogging, and bike riding along the boardwalk.

There’s an artistic vibe here that’s unlike any other beach town in SoCal. Especially along the boardwalk where you’ll often find large groups of people gathering around street performers at any given time.

But even if all you care to do is take a walk along the sand and soak up the SoCal views, the great thing about Venice Beach is that you can enjoy doing that here, too. Because sometimes it’s the simple things that make even the funkiest spots in SoCal the most delightful places to be.
