As if we weren’t already completely spoiled by our amazing state parks in Montana during warmer weather, there happen to be a few that are even better to visit during winter. Lone Pine State Park, for example, seems to be its most inviting when the ground is covered in snow. It’s definitely worth bundling up to go explore before spring.
Lone Pine State Park is located in Kalispell.

The park has 7.5 miles of trails to explore.

This park is often described as revitalizing for the soul.

When you need to warm up, head to one of the established fire pits.

If you need to host an event and you want a unique venue, the newly remodeled Visitor Center is open year-round and has a Community Room that’s available to rent.
CATTSAR / TripAdvisor The Community Room has an LCD projector and screen and a big screen TV. It’s nearly impossible to host an outdoor event this time of year, so it’s nice to know you’ll still have options if you want to have your get-together at this beautiful park.
