You have seen many photographs of South Carolina; of the beauty, the sunrises, the sunsets, the glorious landscapes, but this is just a bit different. I went on a hunt for photographs of South Carolina at night. It takes special skill to take photographs at night; skill, patience, and talent. I have rounded up some of the most surreal and beautiful photographs that I could find. Let’s take a look!
- I have for you a series of night shots by Delk Haigler who captured the Milky Way in glorious splendor. I hope you enjoy!

- There is nothing more southern than fireflies (or do you call them lightning bugs?) These have been caught, briefly by the way, in a jar and photographed by their own light at night.

- “First Light” shot by Delk Haigler. He has captured something that may not be seen again for many, many years. The Moon, Venus, and Jupiter all together.

- Justin, the photographer, has titled this one, “Night Sky and Running Water”. What an amazing shot of the rushing water from the dams in Greenville.

- Charleston’s Ravenel Bridge captured at just the right moment by Becky. It looks as if it’s floating above the water.
